Aims & Scope
The scope of JCMS consists of two parts: specialization areas and contemporary characteristics:
1. Specialization Areas
The scope of specialization focuses on current issues such as:
i) Contemporary Areas in Management: covering key management and business areas, including innovative strategies for competitive advantage, effective leadership, talent retention, and the integration of sustainable practices in the workplace.
ii) Contemporary Areas in Accounting and Finance: auditing in a digital environment, the application and impact of accounting, reporting, and financial technology in business management.
iii) Other Management Areas:
- Information Systems and Information Technology: an exploration of the application and impact of cutting-edge IS/IT in business management.
- Marketing: investigation of marketing strategies and consumer behavior in the digital age.
- Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation: crucial insights into various aspects of entrepreneurship, including strategies for start-ups, innovation management, entrepreneurial finance, entrepreneurship education, and the dynamics of small and family-owned businesses, as well as corporate and social entrepreneurship, with a focus on technology and innovation.
- Sustainability: a steadfast commitment to sustainable practices within corporate governance.
- Law: analysis of contemporary and evolving legal challenges in management.
2. Contemporary Characteristics
JCMS welcomes articles with contemporary characteristics, which are studies highlighting current and recent issues. Besides addressing new issues and fields, "contemporary" also means studies or writings related to hotly debated topics, research using new methodologies, intervention studies, research that leads to the creation of innovative technologies with real-world applications in management, or, in other words, high-impact studies.
